St. Mary Parish Arrest Report

According to Sheriff Mark Hebert during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 66 complaints and reports the following arrests.
Tonyelle Chaunte Canty, 26, 520 Utah St, Berwick, La was arrested on August 20, 2012 at 8:24 am on a warrant for Lafourche Parish for failure to appear. Canty was located at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin, LA and was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.
Anthony Madison, Jr., 27, 611 Robert ST, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 20, 2012 at 10:48 am on Hwy. 182 in Centerville, LA on a warrant for failure to appear for charges of traffic violations. A deputy located Madison on the warrant and transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $344.50.
Elzina Marie Boutte Charles, 21, 122 Jolivette St, Baldwin, LA was arrested on August 20, 2012 at 11:12 am at the Parish Courthouse in Franklin on warrants for failure to appear on charges of remaining where forbidden and speeding. Charles turned herself in upon learning of the warrants for her arrest. She was released on an $834.50 bond.
Donnie Ray Brown, 55, 3206 Lake Palourde Rd, Amelia, LA was arrested on August 20, 2012 at 11:44 am on 4 warrants for issuing worthless checks. Brown was located on the warrants and released on a summons to appear in court on October 29, 2012.
Mary Bullock Foret, 53, 223 Southeast Blvd, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on August 20, 2012 at 3:41 pm for driving while intoxicated, careless operation with an accident, and no insurance. A deputy responded to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Southeast Blvd. and Middle Rd. in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation the deputy learned that Foret failed to yield at the intersection and had no insurance. Foret indicated to the deputy that she had taken medicaton before leaving her home. Foret was transported to Teche Regional Medical Center for treatment. Foret was then transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.
Ryan Wayne Carr, 21, 622 8th ST, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 20, 2012 at 3:34 pm for failure to register as a sex offender. Carr turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse upon learning of the warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.
Lorraine Broussard, 53, 203 East Third ST, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 20, 2012 at 4:35 pm at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse on a warrant for telephone harassment. Broussard was located on the warrant and released on a summons to appear in court on October 29, 2012.
Ashlyn Coleman, 18, 420 Vertdune St, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 20, 2012 at 5:02 pm at the Wal-Mart in Bayou Vista, LA for theft. A deputy responded to a complaint of a shoplifter. Upon arrival the deputy learned from store security that Coleman had been observed placing several items in her purse. The items are valued at $28.20. Coleman was released on a summons to appear in court on October 29, 2012.
Terry Gibbs, 19, 418 Hwy. 318, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 20, 2012 at 5:51 pm at the residence listed above for leash law violation. A deputy responded to a complaint of dogs running free without a leash. During the course of the investigation the deputy learned that one of the dogs belonged to Gibbs. Gibbs was released on summons to appear in court on October 29, 2012.
Donna L. Vice, 118 Home Ln, Bewick, LA was arrested on August 20, 2012 at 7:55 pm on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Vice on the warrant and issued Vice summons to appear in court on October 29, 2012.
Reginald Thomas, 46, 259 Dixie Rd, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 20, 2012 at 8:06 pm at the address listed above on a warrant for failure to appear. A deputy located Thomas on the warrant. Thomas was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.
Michael Hickson, 20, 430 Idaho St, Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 20, 2012 at 8:30 pm at McDonald's restaurant in Morgan City on warrants for attempted unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and simple criminal damage to property. A deputy located Hickson on the warrants. The warrants stem from an investigation into an attempted entry into a home in Amelia. Hickson was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.
