St Mary Narcotics Task Force Reports Three Arrests

The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, consisting of St. Mary Sheriff Dept., Morgan City Police Dept., Franklin Police Dept., Baldwin Police Dept.., Berwick Police Dept., and Chitimacha Police Dept.. report the following arrests:

Tonya Renew 35 yoa of 349 Shell Beach Road, Pierre Part, La was arrested on 12-17-2009 at 2:22 pm for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Loritab and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Suspect was booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Aimee Bertrand 22 yoa of 1310 Second St., Morgan City was arrested on 12-17-2009 at 3:19 pm for Possession of Xanax. Suspect was booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Joseph D. Hebert 42 yoa of 205 Bridge Road, Patterson was arrested on 12-17-2009 at 4:11 pm for Possession of Loritab with Intent to Distribute and Conspiracy to Distribute Loritab. Suspect was booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

On 12-17-2009 Agents of the Narcotics Task Force along with D.E.A. and LouisianaState Police executed a search warrant at 711 Terrebonne St., Apt. # 14, Morgan City.


Upon Agents securing the residence, several subjects were detained and a search was conducted of suspects and the residence. While searching Tonya Renew, marijuana, Loritabs and drug paraphernalia were located in her purse. While investigation was on going Aimee Bertrand came to residence and was detained with Agents searching her and locating a Xanax pill in her purse. Joseph D. Hebert also came to residence while investigation was ongoing and he was detained a search of his person resulted in two pill bottles being located with several Loritabs. After investigation above suspects were placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bonds at this time.
