St. Mary Narcotics Arrest Report

Christopher V. Smith, 37, 1201 James Street, Siracusaville, LA was arrested on October 19, 2012 at 12:54 pm for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, violation of a CDS law (Drug Free Zone), obstruction of justice, possession of drug paraphernalia, transactions involving drug proceeds, possession of Schedule III (Vicodin), possession of Legend Drug (Naproxen), and resisting an officer by flight. Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at the residence listed above. Upon arriving at the home, Smith fled from detectives on foot. A short time later, detectives apprehended Smith. During the search of the residence detectives located marijuana with an approximate street value of $3,250.00. Vicodin, Naproxen, items of drug paraphernalia, and $678.00 in cash (U.S. Currency) was also located. Smith was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond has been set.
