St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force Arrests

The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, consisting of St. Mary Sheriff Dept., Morgan City Police Dept., Franklin Police Dept., Baldwin Police Dept.., Berwick Police Dept., and Chitimacha Police Dept.. report the following arrests:

James Travis III 23 yoa of 204 Columbia Ave., Monroe, La. was arrested on 1-5-2010 at 4:00 pm for Possession of Marijuana. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were called to Hwy 90 in the Patterson area in reference to assisting LouisianaState Police with a traffic stop. During investigation Patterson's K-9 unit was called to the scene and alerted on the passenger side of the vehicle. Upon Agents searching the vehicle a bag of marijuana was located. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 4-7-2010.

Lonnie J. Guillory 20 yoa of 110 Donald Lane, Franklin was arrested on 1-5-2010 at 9:33 pm for Possession of Methamphetamine, Operating a Clandestine Laboratory and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were called to Dottie's Lane in Ricohoc in reference to illegal narcotics being located by Deputy after a traffic stop. Upon Agents arrival it was learned that Deputy located items used for the manufacture of Methamphetamine in the rear seat of suspect's vehicle. A bag containing crystal meth was also located on suspect's person. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
