St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Press Release
According to Sheriff Mark A. Hebert during the last 24 hours the Sheriff's Office responded to 27 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Ciera C. Thomas 22 yoa of
1200 Front St
. # 4, Morgan City was arrested on 2-13-2012 at 11:51 am on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect was located at her residence, placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 5-23-2012.
Earl Johnson 56 yoa of 213 Ford Industrial Road, Amelia was arrested on 2-13-2012 at 8:49 pm for Disturbing the Peace Obscene Language and Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated. Deputy was called to the Amelia Belle Casino in reference to removing a subject. Upon Deputy's arrival security advised that suspect was intoxicated causing a disturbance and using profanity. Deputy conducted investigation with suspect who refused to cooperate and was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $500.00 bond at this time.
