St. Martinville Police Make Arrest in Bomb Threat

The St. Martinville Police Department received an assignment to respond to a State office in the St. Martinville City limits in regards to a bomb threat.

Upon officers' arrival, all office personnel were evacuated as officers canvassed the facility searching for any suspicious packages. Concluding the search, no suspicious packages were located.

The suspect was identified as 50 year old Jeanette Raymond of St. Martinville who was later located and arrested at her residence. She was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the felony charge of communicating false information of a planned arson.
