(St. Martinville, La.)-Shortly after 5:00 p.m. on July 27, 2012, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit executed a Search Warrant at a residence located on Alva Drive in Breaux Bridge. During the search of the residence, Agents located a large amount of marijuana (approximately 10 pounds), MDMA pills (Ecstasy), Hydrocodone pills (Lortabs), 3 firearms (1 of which was found to be stolen from Lafayette, LA), and U.S. currency. A marijuana cultivation laboratory was also discovered inside the residence and 30 marijuana plants were seized.
The following persons were arrested and charged as follows:
Kendol Alexander-22-Breaux Bridge:
-Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS (MDMA)
-Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS (Marijuana)
-Creation or Operation of Clandestine Laboratory
-3Cts Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule III (Hydrocodone)
-Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of a C.D.S.
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Possession of a Stolen Firearm
Victor Alexander-17-Breaux Bridge:
-Transactions Involving Proceeds from Drug Offenses
-Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS (Marijuana)
-Creation or Operation of Clandestine Laboratory
-Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of a C.D.S.
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
They were both booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges. No bond has been set.
