St Landry: Sexual Abuse of a Child Arrest

Press Release: On July 2, 2010, St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office began investigating a complaint of sexual abuse. The suspect was fifty-three year old, Raymond Johnson Sr. of Melville, LA. Johnson was accused of sexually abusing a child that was in his care on multiple occasions.
According to Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz on July 16, 2010, St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office investigators arrested Raymond Johnson Sr. for violating Louisiana Revised Statue 14: 43.1 A (1) Sexual Battery, and Louisiana Revised Statue 14:43.3 C (2) Oral Sexual Battery.
Johnson was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail.
