In St. Landry Parish, voters will vote on three property tax renewals tomorrow. Voters in a rural area near Opelousas will vote on Fire Protection District 3 to renew a 10-year, 6.43-mill property tax, generating an estimated $1.1 million a year. Another item on the ballot for the Consolidated Gravity Drainage District 1 of Third Ward to renew a 10-year, 9.34-mill property tax, generating an estimated $352,000 a year for operations, maintenance and equipment in Leonville, Arnaudville and Prairie Basse. Finally, District No. 6 Public Works Commission to renew a 10-year, 14.37-mill property tax, generating an estimated $983,000 a year for operations and maintenance in Krotz Springs and Port Barre.
