St. Landry government assessing damage; sandbags available

St. Landry Parish Government crews continue to be out assessing roads for damage and high water. Parish government personnel will be on standby through the night at the St. Landry Parish Airport to assist with emergency situations.
SANDBAGS
Fill for sandbags will be available through the night for residents of St. Landry Parish.
Pick-up Location: Yambilee Building, 1939 W. Landry St., Opelousas - Behind the Yambilee Building in the open hut.
Sandbag Limit: 10 per household
Please bring a shovel. These bags are self-fill.
