St. Helena police juror booked in theft case

GREENSBURG, La. (AP) - Officials say St. Helena Parish Police Jury President Frank E. Johnson has been booked with one felony count of illegal possession of stolen property.
The Advocate reports sheriff's deputies went to Johnson's house in Pine Grove about 4 p.m. Thursday to check for a stolen automobile motor.
While there, Chief Detective Chester Pritchett says they spotted a four-wheeler that had been reported stolen.
It was not clear whether Johnson has an attorney.
