St. Charles Parish Woman Dies of Burns

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Louisiana Fire Marshall H. "Butch"
Browning says a 48-year-old St. Charles Parish woman has died of
burns from a fire earlier in the week.
He says investigators are still looking into the cause of the
fire that killed Christine Loupe of Paradis (PAR-uh-dee), but
believe it was a natural gas explosion.
Loupe died Friday of burns from the fire on Aug. 18.
Browning says investigators think the gas came from a pipe in
the kitchen.
