St. Amant man faces porn charges

ST. AMANT, La. (AP) - State police and Ascension Parish sheriff's detectives have arrested a 29-year-old St. Amant man on child pornography counts.
The Advocate reports detectives searched the home of Brandon Mayers on Wednesday and found several images "indicative of child pornography" on his computer.
Mayers was booked into Ascension Parish Prison in Donaldsonville and released on bail Thursday.
It could not be determined whether Mayers has an attorney.
