SPS Walks All Over Cancer

Today, students at St. Peter School in Gueydan walked from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. raising cancer awareness and funds to fight against cancer.
As part of Catholic Schools Week Celebration, St. Peter School hosted "SPS Walks All Over Cancer" Walk-a-Thon on Thursday, January 31st. Students, faculty, and community members walked from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to raise awareness and raise money to be donated to the family of Tanner LaBauve(Student of SPS battling leukemia) and Miles Perret Cancer Services.
The entire school completed the last lap at 1:30 pm, ending with a celebration of the children's accomplishment.
