SPRINGHILL, La. (AP) - Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that damaged Citizens Bank on Main St. in Springhill.
At least 40 firefighters from Springhill, Cullen and Sarepta responded to the scene early Saturday morning.
Springhill Fire Chief David Camp tells KSLA-TV the fire started in a training room before spreading to the roof. He said there was smoke and soot damage throughout all the bank and water damage in the bookkeeping operations area.
Bank President Tommy Boggs said they had been experiencing electrical problems in the operations area of the bank. Camp said they are not sure what caused the fire.
