Balmy spring-like temperatures will continue for Acadiana through Thursday with highs staying in the mid-70s.
Along with the mild and moist flow from the Gulf of Mexico, look for plenty of clouds and the risk of late night/early morning fog and low overcast clouds.
Fog advisories could be possible by Tuesday morning and will be a threat through Thursday morning.
Expect plenty of clouds during the day through Wednesday but a few intervals of warm sunshine will be possible during the latter parts of the next several afternoons.
Conditions will change Thursday with increasing southerly winds and the chance of showers and storms developing by Thursday evening ahead of Acadiana's next cool front.
This front will likely stall just offshore so lingering clouds will be possible into the weekend...with some rain chances possible Sunday into early next week.
It will likely be cooler, but not too cold, behind this front with highs closer to the 60s this weekend with lows dropping into the 40s.
And don't plant your spring garden quite yet, as long range models have been fairly consistent on indicating that light freezing temperatures could be possible toward the end of next week...we'll see!
