Around Acadiana

Space Station visible just after 9:00 Wednesday night

From the Lafayette Science Museum: Acadiana observers will be able to see the International Space Station go by tonight between 9:16 and 9:19 PM CDT. Look for it coming from low in the northwestern sky through a position between the Big Dipper and the North Star. When under the Big Dipper it will be about midway between the horizon and the point overhead. It will look like a bright, clearly moving star, about as bright or brighter than Jupiter (the brightest star-like object well up in the west tonight).
