BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Southern University police have arrested an 18-year-old student accused of raping a female student on Sept. 20 in her campus dormitory room.

Jeremy Williams of Baton Rouge was booked Monday into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on one count of forcible rape.

According to the arrest warrant, the student arrived in the common area of her dormitory suite and saw Williams, who said he was looking for someone else. The female student allowed Williams to wait in her room, where he raped her.

It was unclear whether Williams has an attorney.
