SMSO seeks public's assistance in solving a major theft

On July 25, 2012 the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office was called out to Patterson Tubular Services on Siracusa Rd. in Siracusaville in reference to a theft. 71 large pipe couplings valued at $1000 each were stolen from the yard. The couplings weigh 56 lbs each. Detectives are in the process of obtaining surveillance footage from the yard. Anyone who may have information on the couplings or the theft may contact the SMPSO Detectives Division at 985-384-1622 or 337-828-1960.
