SLU offers tax prep workshop

HAMMOND, La. (AP) - The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University is offering a seminar for tax preparers, certified public accountants and others engaged in payroll tax documentation.
The seminar is scheduled Friday from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the University Center. Cost to attend is $20.
The session will be presented by representatives of the Internal Revenue Service and Louisiana Department of Revenue, said Sandy Summers, assistant director of the Southeastern SBDC.
