Slow-Moving Tropical Storm Named Blas Has Formed

MIAMI (AP) - A slow-moving tropical storm named Blas has formed
off Mexico's southwestern coast.
The National Hurricane Center in Miami says the storm formed out
of a tropical depression Thursday in the Pacific about 265 miles
(425 kilometers) south-southwest of Manzanillo. It was moving
northeast around 2 mph (4 kph).
It has maximum sustained winds of 40 mph (65 kph).
