The St. Landry Economic and Industrial Development District may soon have a new leader. According to SLEIDD board chairman Andy Dakin, the board has voted to offer the district's vacant executive director position to Bill Rodier. Rodier, a native of Montana, is currently the deputy director of the Louisiana Workforce Commission.
Dakin says Rodier can accept or reject the contract offered to him. Dakin says he hopes a deal will be finalized in the near future.
