SLCC to host open house at T.H. Harris campus in Opelousas

South Louisiana Community College will host a Community Open House on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at its T.H. Harris campus in Opelousas.
The community is invited to visit the campus and meet students, faculty, and staff. Program offerings will also be on display. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and is free.
T. H. Harris campus delivers instructional programs, which provide skilled employees for business and industry that contribute to the overall economic development and workforce needs of the state. This campus provides individuals with quality and relevant learning opportunities consistent with identified student, business, and industry needs within a life-long learning environment.
Some of the programs offered at T.H. Harris include Air Conditioning and Refrigeration,Business Office Technology, Drafting and Design Technology, Electrician, Non-Destructive Testing, Practical Nursing and Welding.
