ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - Rapides Parish deputies say the sister of a Pineville man who eluded authorities for more than two years now is facing charges that she tried to pressure victims into changing their stories.
The Town Talk reports 37-year-old Jennifer Colleen Gordey Davis was arrested Saturday and booked with accessory after the fact, obstruction of justice and criminal conspiracy. She was released after posting a $30,000 bond.
The case involves her brother, Jeffrey Neil Gibson, who fled Pineville in 2010 after detectives began investigating complaints that he had been involved in inappropriate relationships with juveniles. Warrants on three counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, three counts of sexual battery and six counts of felony carnal knowledge were issued for Gibson.
It was unclear whether Davis has an attorney.
