Simulated terrorist attack Wednesday at Cajun Field football stadium

A simulated terrorist attack will take place at Cajun Field football stadium Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 6 a.m. to 6 in the evening. The 62nd WMD-CST, also known as Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team, will train local first responders in dealing with a simulated terrorist attack.
The 22-unit team is made up of soldiers and airmen of the Louisiana National Guard and is specially trained and equipped to identify unknown hazards, assess the consequences, and assist with obtaining further support.
