Shreveport police chase ends in crash, 1 hurt

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - A driver sped away from police in Shreveport when they attempted to stop him and the resulting chase ended in a fiery early morning crash.
Police said they attempted to stop the car Monday morning after noticing that it had a missing headlight.
The chase lasted about five minutes.
The driver has been identified only as a 35-year-old man. He was hospitalized but there was no word on his condition. Police told KSLA that the driver is facing aggravated flight charges.
