Shreveport Middle School Bookkeeper Arrested For Theft

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Police say a bookkeeper at Shreveport's
Youree Drive Middle School has been booked with theft of more than
$2,000 in school funds.
The Times reports that 35-year-old Amber Kirsten Fontana was
booked at the Caddo Correction Center on charges of theft Thursday.
Tricia Grayson, director of communication and marketing for
Caddo Parish public schools, said a district auditor discovered
discrepancies in funds.
It was not immediately known whether Fontana has an attorney.
