Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover has vetoed four ordinances that he says would restrict the authority granted his office under the City Charter.
The Shreveport City Council passed the ordinances about two weeks ago.
The vetoed measures would prohibit payment to the city's financial adviser from the General Fund, Airport Enterprise Fund, Water & Sewerage Fund and the Riverfront Development Fund.
The ordinances were passed during an ongoing investigation of financial adviser Calvin Grigsby, who worked with the city on refinancing hotel and convention center bonds and on a 2011 general obligation bond package.
