Shreveport man dies in house fire

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Authorities have identified Shreveport man who died in a weekend house fire in the city.
The Times reports that Sunday's fire killed 28-year-old Delma Walpool.
Shreveport Fire Department says much of the house was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
Firefighters searched for victims and as crews brought the fire under control at 5:25 a.m., and found Walpool inside, between the hallway and a rear bedroom.
Three others, including two children, managed to escape.
