Shreveport brawl leads to 1 death

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Shreveport police say a man who was injured in a weekend brawl has died.

Twenty-year-old Robert Farmer died Thursday, four days after what police said was a fight with "multiple participants."

Police arrested and booked 27-year-old Darrell Phillips of Shreveport and 23-year-old Demerius Smith of Alexandria with second degree battery prior to Farmer's death. Police said Farmer's death could lead to more serious charges.
