After a round of showers and thunderstorms pushing through Acadiana Sunday afternoon and evening, skies will clear out setting up a very nice work week.
Immediately behind the cold front high pressure builds up in Acadiana and doesn't look to be going anywhere anytime soon.
This means that temperatures will run slightly cooler then average to start the week, but with all the sunshine it won't take long to start warming up.
High pressure will remain in place for the majority of the week so as those clocks move forward, the weather moves rapidly towards spring.
Highs on Monday will only make it into the lower 60 and the nights will be chilly, but by mid-week we will be back in the mid 70s.
