Shooting leaves 1 dead, 2 injured

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Baton Rouge police say one man is dead and another is clinging to life after each was shot between six and seven times.
The men were shot around 2 a.m. Sunday as they were driving down Plank Road.
Police say the victim's car collided with another car before coming to rest in a grassy area.
Officers found the two victims lying on each side of the car.
Police says the man lying near the driver's side, 22-year-old Michael Allen of Baton Rouge was pronounced dead the scene.
The man lying near the passenger's side was taken to a local
hospital.
The woman driving the car that was struck by the shooting
victims' car was taken to the hospital with facial injuries.
Police did not release any information about the shooter.
