Shooting Investigation in Rayne

Rayne police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened late Tuesday night. Officers were notified of shots being fired on the 700 block of Reynolds street around 9:30pm. Later that night an unidentified male was found dead on the 700 block of Chappuis street.

If anyone has information on this shooting they are asked to call Acadia Crimestoppers at 789-TIPS (789-8477).

**Callers will remain anonymous and could receive up to a $1,000 cash reward. **
