Shooting Claims Life of Opelousas Man

An Opelousas man is dead in an apparent murder. Police say 27-year-old Dion "Fred" Lamb was shot around 3:00 this morning in the 500 block of Kim Drive. Lamb was transported to a local hospital where he later died. Police say they do not have any suspects at this time.
