FRYEBURG, La. (AP) - A wildlife that burned about 200 acres in an area along the Bienville-Webster Parish line has been extinguished but is still smoldering in spots.
One person was evacuated following Sunday's fire which started off Holmes Road in the Fryeburg community. She has since returned to her home.
Sheriff John Ballance said Monday that no injuries were reported.
He says firefighters are monitoring the area to make sure the fire doesn't reignite, He says he does not know what caused the fire but there's no indication of arson.
