Sheriff's Youth Golf Tourney Set for June 25-26

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office will host a youth golf tournament next month. The Sheriff's Annual Youth Golf Tournament will take place at Hebert Municipal Golf Course on June 25 and 26. There is no cost to enter the tournament, which is open to children between the ages of 6 and 17. Deputies say they host the tournament to not only keep local children busy during the summer, but also to allow deputies to mentor them during the two days of the event.
