There will be over 100 vendors from near and far set up in the Shadows gardens and on Main Street in front of the Shadows on Saturday, March 2nd from 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.
Admission to the fair is $5.00 per person (age 12 and older) and $3.00 per child (age 6-11) and includes a tour of the Shadows where artists and crafts persons will be demonstrating their craft between 11:00-3:00. Raffle tickets will be sold to win items donated by the vendors. In addition to the arts & crafts, food and dessert vendors will be on hand.
Some of the vendors will be Alla's Fine Art, All Forked Up, Bling Bling & Things, Brother-in-Law Hot Sauce, Cajun T's Cypress Knees, Cow Lane Creations, Face Art, Fired Up Kettle Corn, For the Birds, Imaginary Mosaics, Ivy Cottage Creations, Nanny's Pastime, The Necklace Girls, Nogle's Wood Nook, Sew Be It, Traditional Family Crafts, and E. E. Williams "The Man Who Paints with Flowers."
Some of the unique items for sale are homemade doggie biscuits, Easter baskets, art photography, pen & ink drawings of Louisiana scenes, wooden toys, beaded jewelry, little girl's dresses for Easter Sunday, pottery, cutting boards, crocheted baby hats, blankets & bibs, paintings and prints, yard art for the spring garden, hand-painted wine glasses, memory boards, and colorful hair bows and much more.
All funds raised will be used to support the continued preservation and annual education programs at this National Historic Landmark. The Shadows is located at 317 East Main Street in New Iberia.
