The storm system that has forced watches and warning across the country will make its push toward Acadiana. The stronger storms will stay mainly to our north, but it is still a system worth watching.
The showers will arrive in the evening on Thursday and continue for a few hours passed midnight. The main concern with this system is going to be winds and the possibility of some light hail. Most of the tornadic activity will stay off to our north.
After this cold front passes we will have a drastic change in the forecast with temperatures cooling down well below average, and humidity dropping. The weekend should provide plenty of sunshine which will last into next week.
