Several Arrested for Robbery Following "Drug Deal Gone Bad"

An apartment robbery resulting from what police call a botched drug deal has landed several people in jail. Police and Lafayette Parish sheriff's deputies responded to the Duson Housing Complex Monday night while the incident was in progress. Jennifer Morvant and David Trahan are charged with armed robbery. Kelly Hayes and Richard Labauve face simple robbery charges. Justin Bergeron and Donald Leblanc are charged with criminal trespass. Morvant, Trahan, Hayes, Labauve, and Bergeron also face drug charges.
