Session focuses on La., US economic outlook

Business analysts will deliver economic forecasts for the nation, region and state at the annual Business Outlook Summit on Friday.
The Times reports the presentations will be at 8:30 a.m. at the CenturyLink headquarters in Monroe.
The national overview will be delivered by John Stoltzfus, managing director and chief market strategist for Oppenheimer Asset Management Inc. in New York. The regional and state economic outlook will be presented by John Francis, assistant professor of economics at Louisiana Tech University, and Robert Eisenstadt, associate professor of economics at the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
Registration must be made in advance and is $50 per person and $15 per student.
