Second suspect sought in Scott tattoo artist robbery

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office has issued an alert for a second suspect in the armed robbery of a Scott tattoo artist Wednesday night.

Detectives secured an arrest warrant today for Tyrus "Mookie" Leblanc, 21, on a charge of armed robbery. Joseph Broussard, Jr., 17, is currently being held in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on the same charge.

Investigators say Broussard and LeBlanc went to the victim's home in the 200 block of Haven Loop to get tattoos. Broussard and LeBlanc allegedly pulled handguns on the victim and stole the his tattoo machine and other items.

Deputies say the victim recognized Broussard and showed them his Facebook profile. Broussard was arrested a short time later.
