GRETNA, La. (AP) - The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force has apprehended 20-year-old Irvin Harris of Harvey, who faces two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of two Southern University students.
Nikiayn Westerfield and Dave Harrison were found shot to death Aug. 13 in a car in Harvey.
The Times-Picayune reports (http://bit.ly/1cTGpKP) Harris was arrested Friday afternoon at a friend's house in New Orleans.
His alleged accomplice, 19-year-old Jeremy Coleman of Waggaman, was arrested last week and booked with second-degree murder.
Police believe the shootings were drug related.
It was unclear whether the men have attorneys.
