A Lafayette man is charged with being a principal to attempted second-degree murder in connection with a Sunday night shooting. Lensly Johnnie is free on $250,000 bond. Investigators say Johnnie took part and/or had knowledge of the incident, in which 21-year-old Joshua Damond fired several shots at a man sitting in his vehicle. The victim was not struck.
Damond was arrested Tuesday and is free on bond.
