Breaux Bridge Detectives in conjunction with Lafayette Branch of the FBI and the New Orleans Branch of the FBI have now made an second arrest in a three year cold case bank Arm robbery of Farmer's & Merchant Bank & Trust which dated back from May 26, 2006.
As you recall the Acadian Crime Lab was able to link the suspect 38 year old Herbert Wilson from DNA which was collected at the crime scene by Breaux Bridge Detectives.
Wilson was arrested by the Bexar County Sheriff's Office which is located in San Antonio, TX.
The New Orleans branch of the FBI Sterling arrested 30-year-old Rasheed Sterling of New Orleans, La.
Sterling was picked up by Breaux Bridge Detectives and transported back to the Breaux Bridge Police Department where Sterling was booked in connection to committing Armed Robbery.
Sterling is presently being held in the St Martin Parish Correctional Center.
