SEC Honors Jefferson, Franklin, Jasper

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson and Arkansas linebacker Jerry Franklin are the Southeastern Conference offensive and defensive players of the week.
Jefferson passed for a career-high 254 yards and accounted for two touchdowns in a win over Mississippi.
Franklin had a career-best 20 tackles in Arkansas'
double-overtime win at Mississippi State. It was the fourth-highest single-game tackling total in the nation this season.
LSU punter/placekicker Josh Jasper won special teams honors. He kicked three field goals and buried Ole Miss at the 4 on a punt.
Offensive line honors went to Arkansas tackle DeMarcus Love, while Tennessee end Gerald Williams was defensive lineman of the week.
South Carolina tailback Marcus Lattimore is the freshman of the week.
