Search for Home Invasion Person of Interest

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's office is searching for a teenager believed involved in the home invasion of an elderly man.

It happened September 19, 2010 at approximately 09:20 p.m. on the 1800 block of Castillo Road the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a complaint of a home invasion.

The 77 year old male victim told deputies that two males wearing masks had forced their way into his residence and struck him on the head with a hand gun.

The victim told deputies that one of the suspects ran into the residence and then left the residence soon after. According to the victim nothing was stolen from the residence. The victim was then taken to a nearby hospital, treated for his injuries and later released.

Detectives are seeking a Deondrick Bowser (DOB 09/12/1990 Height 6'00 Weight 130 lbs. Black Male) as a person of interest in the home invasion.

Bowser has an active warrant for Failure to Appear. Anyone with knowledge of Bowser's whereabouts should contact the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office at (337) 369-3711.
