SCOTT, La. (AP) - Residents who need to reach the police department in Scott this weekend are urged to call 911 instead as officers will be making their move to new quarters.
The city has just completed a $3.4 million emergency services building that will house the city's police and fire departments. Police Chief Chad Leger tells The Advertiser his officers will be moving into their new quarters this weekend.
As a result, the current police office will be through Monday for the move.
Leger says regular office hours will resume Tuesday at the police station.
