School Replaces Textbooks with iPads

Students at St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School won't be carrying textbooks this school year.
Michelle Chauvin, director of advancement at the school, tells The Daily Star (http://bit.ly/N1vDnE ) that all students will be assigned an iPad, and each iPad will have apps or text files with textbooks on them.
Technology director Josh Wittie has been holding tutorial sessions for students during the summer.
Every classroom has an Apple television so students and teachers can display the work from each iPad onto the TV for class discussions, Chauvin said.
