CLINTON, La. (AP) - After narrowing the list of candidates to two, the East Feliciana Parish School Board plans to vote on a new superintendent Thursday.
The Advocate reports board members chose Henderson Lewis Jr. of Violet, and parish interim Assistant Superintendent Edna Lusk Thomas of Baker, as finalists after four ballots Tuesday on six candidates recommended by an interview committee.
Board President Michael Bradford announced that a "meet-and-greet" session is planned after 5:30 p.m. Thursday for the public to meet the finalists.
Bradford said the audience also will be allowed to question the candidates, and the board will meet in executive session with the two before choosing between Lewis and Thomas.
