SAREPTA, La. (AP) Sarepta High School's football coach has resigned after being accused of obstructing justice in a fire allegedly set by his son and two other teens.

The Webster Parish School Board put 47-year-old John Bryant of Shreveport on administrative leave after his arrest Dec. 3.

Bryant declined comment Wednesday to the Press-Herald of Minden.

Seventeen-year-old Luke Daniel Bryant, 17-year-old George Smith of Sarepta and a 16-year-old allegedly set the fire in November. It burned a former slaughterhouse being used by the school for storage.

All three were booked in December with arson, conspiracy and making an incendiary device. The 17-year-olds and John Bryant also were booked with contributing to a juvenile's delinquency.
